{"id":163,"date":"2024-01-02T15:46:15","date_gmt":"2024-01-02T14:46:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/isovol.org\/?p=163"},"modified":"2024-01-10T21:08:30","modified_gmt":"2024-01-10T20:08:30","slug":"legend-of-count-solomon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isovol.org\/es\/legend-of-count-solomon\/","title":{"rendered":"Leyenda del Conde Salom\u00f3n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aunque en tiempos antiguos se puso en duda la existencia del conde Salom\u00f3n de Cerdanya, lleg\u00e1ndose a decir que en realidad era el Salom\u00f3n de la Historia Sagrada, lo cierto es que existe suficiente constancia documental para afirmar su existencia. Los mismos Gesta Comitum Barcinonensium mencionan a este conde e, incluso, hacen referencia a su pertenencia \u00e9tnica: \u201cSalomone nacione gallicum\u201d (MH. col.538), a pesar de su nombre de tradici\u00f3n jud\u00edo-bizantina.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, entre los m\u00e1s antiguos condes de Cerdanya, es quiz\u00e1s de lo que hay m\u00e1s constancia documental (\u2026).<\/p>\n<p>Los condes de esta \u00e9poca aparecen como caudillos, guerreros y sobre todo, ejerciendo la justicia p\u00fablica. As\u00ed, un a\u00f1o antes de la expedici\u00f3n a C\u00f3rdoba, en 862, tuvo lugar en All (in vico Alle) un juicio \u201cin ipso mallo publico\u201d, presidido por el conde (Mart\u00ed Santjaume, 1928, p.467). El \u201cmall\u201d era, entre cuyos antiguos pueblos germ\u00e1nicos son los herederos nuestros primeros condes locales, la asamblea formada por los hombres libres y con derecho a llevar armas, presidida por el caudillo (Rovira y Virgili, 1922-1934, vol. II, p.242).<\/p>\n<p>En este juicio, un hombre llamado Witiscle, sobrino de Ail\u00f3, hijo del conde Asnar Gal\u00ed, se quej\u00f3 de que un hombre llamado Sennane quer\u00eda tener derechos sobre la \"villa\" Sedret (valle del r\u00edo Querol). Sennane dec\u00eda que ten\u00eda la villa por beneficio de su se\u00f1or, el conde Salom\u00f3n (\u201cpor beneficio de seniori meo\u201d). Witiscle afirmaba, por el contrario, que Ail\u00f3 le dio la villa con su iglesia de San Mart\u00edn (\u201cdomum Sancti Martini\u201d) y que despu\u00e9s el conde Sunifred se la tom\u00f3 y cedi\u00f3 en beneficio a Isarn ilegalmente (\u201cabsque legis hordine\u201d). Los jueces, escuchadas las partes, dieron la raz\u00f3n a Witiscle. Finalmente, el arcipreste Protasio, probablemente el fundador de Eixalda i Cuix\u00e0, escribi\u00f3 el documento. Este acaba con una refrencia a la alegr\u00eda con la que Witiscle recibi\u00f3 la justicia condal (\u201ccongaudeat se ipse Witisclus in nostro yudicio su iusticia recepisse\u201d) (\u2026).<\/p>\n<p>De Salom\u00f3 no sabemos d\u00f3nde naci\u00f3 ni d\u00f3nde muri\u00f3, pero su personalidad queda suficientemente perfilada como personaje pro-franco, pero al mismo tiempo prudente y espabilado, que supo mantenerse junto al sol que m\u00e1s calentaba en cada momento . Gobern\u00f3 Cerdanya como m\u00f3nim desde el 862 al 868. R. de Abadal (1983, p.30) afirma que Salom\u00f3n debi\u00f3 de gobernar Cerdanya desde la muerte de Sunifred, es decir, hacia el 848.
